Are these parties legal?

Absolutely! Here’s why: There’s no gambling.

Your guests are playing for raffle tickets. These tickets end up in a raffle drum, and are viewed no differently than tickets for door prizes.

Even fundraisers are deemed ok even though participants are charged to play the games. The games are not “house banked”, which means the venue, or “house” isn’t raking in the profits.

At a recent Children’s Justice Center fundraiser, the local Sheriff, County Attorney, Catholic Priest and LDS Stake President all had a great time donating to the cause and playing the games. None of them “risked” a dime.

Think of it this way. If your child attended a birthday party and was given a Margarita to drink, would you raise an eyebrow?

Would you let your child drink the Margarita when you learned that it contained no alcohol? Sure you would.

The analogy is the same for our tables. They’re not “gambling” tables. They are “gaming tables”. So relax and have fun! We take the gamble out of it for you. With Common Cents Casino Parties, it’s “no gamble”.
